About Prof. Agustín Fraile Poblador
Prof. Agustín Fraile Poblador received his university education at University Hospital Madrid, University Hospital Alcalá, and University College London.
Surgical Focus Areas
- Implantation and replacement of penile prostheses; corrective surgery for improperly implanted prostheses
- Implantation of artificial urinary sphincters, including extensive experience with high-risk patients and in combination with penile prosthesis placement
- Urethral reconstruction, including graft surgery

He is also an official proctor (trainer) for Boston Scientific, Coloplast, and Promedon in the fields of penile prostheses, artificial urinary sphincters, and male suburethral slings, and in this role has conducted clinical and surgical training for physicians in numerous countries, including Poland, the Czech Republic, Italy, Turkey, the USA, the United Kingdom, Argentina, the Dominican Republic, and Spain. He also serves as a lecturer at the Center for Advanced Medical Learning and Simulation (CAMLS) in Tampa, Florida.
Scientific Work
For 20 years, Prof. Poblador has been a sought-after guest lecturer at national and international courses and congresses in the fields of andrology and reconstructive urology, and has been invited to more than 70 such events to date. Among others, he has been recognized for the exceptional quality of his medical work or appointed as an instructor at the following congresses:

- 13th Meeting of the EAU Section of Genito-Urinary Reconstructive Surgeons (ESGURS), November 23–24, 2023, Florence

Prof. Poblador is the author of more than 40 scientific publications, including in journals such as The Journal of Urology (American Urological Association) and the International Journal of Urology (Wiley), and is listed on ResearchGate and PubMed.
Volunteer Work
When time permits, Prof. Poblador, together with medical colleagues and in cooperation with the Catholic Church, performs free corrective surgeries, primarily at various locations in Cameroon.
