Why Are There Such Large Price Differences?
Some patients wonder why penis enlargement at UGRS costs about €12,300, while other providers advertise €9,000 or less. The answer lies in a question hardly anyone asks: are you actually comparing the same thing, or apples with oranges?
A lengthening that is only visible in the flaccid state, and a lengthening that works in both the flaccid and erect state, are technically two different procedures. The second requires a specialized surgical technique that is not part of standard plastic surgery training and is therefore not mastered at every plastic surgery clinic – and one that also depends heavily on the surgeon's experience.
€9,000 for a result that remains invisible during erection is therefore more expensive than €12,300 for a result that is visible in both states. That sounds paradoxical – but it is the medical reality that advertising rarely talks about.
We consider it more honest to state this clearly.
What's Included in the Price
The prices quoted include all medical services related to the procedure. There are no hidden additional costs. Included are:

- Anesthesia (twilight sleep + local anesthesia)
- Use of the operating facilities and the medical team
- Self-dissolving sutures – no separate appointment for suture removal
- Medical aftercare, where necessary
Not included are travel to and from the clinic, as well as accommodation for patients from outside the area.
Why We Usually Recommend the Combination
Combined penis lengthening and girth enhancement is, in most cases, the more medically sensible choice. An isolated lengthening can look visually slimmer; girth enhancement alone without a corresponding adjustment in length can, in some cases, look unbalanced. The combination allows for a proportionate, natural overall result.
That's why the combined treatment is the procedure we recommend most often in consultations – and the one chosen by the vast majority of our patients.
Does Health Insurance Cover the Cost of Penis Enlargement?
As a rule, statutory and private health insurers do not cover the cost of surgical penis enlargement.
This is because it is a highly specialized service that is not part of statutory health insurance coverage and is rarely covered by standard private insurance policies.

Different procedures require different amounts of surgical effort. Girth enhancement or lengthening alone is technically less complex than combining both methods. Corrections following procedures performed elsewhere – especially those involving foreign materials – are particularly involved and therefore priced accordingly higher.
Corrections start from approx. €13,500. For procedures involving foreign materials such as silicone, the price starts from approx. €14,500 – because the proper removal of these materials is significantly more involved. More on this on our corrective surgery page.
